Champion of Capua (deceased)
Years ago, Crixus was a centurion in the army of Consul Scipio Ifriquia. He distinguished himself on the Gaercimian front, winning battles even when the odds were against him. His exploits were known as far as Majesta and he was on the way to be made Legatus when the tides of fortune turned on him. One day, his troops were decimated by the legions of Konemnos the Enlightened when reinforcements failed to arrive in time. Consul Pactobius’ men arrived late and found a dying Crixus amongst the wounded. The Templar who mended Crixus’s wounds made a shocking discovery; Crixus was tattooed. Crixus was first sentenced to be burnt alive for that crime, but Numa Coinin, the Tribune of Gaercimia and a Monarchist, commuted his sentence to death ad gladium. Crixus was then bought by Lentulus Batiatus of Capua and have been a very successful gladiator ever since. He currently holds the title of Champion of Capua. Crixus is native of Korvosa.
